President Bush displaces American truckers out of their jobs within 45 days with his Mexican trucker pilot program. Bush signed a bill that allows thousands of substandard 18 wheeler long haul rigs from Mexico onto America’s Interstate system. Mexican drivers, who can’t read, speak or understand English--receive full access to America’s highways.
Bush places all American motorists at risk with Mexican drivers with average 6th grade educations from a Third World country, gross incompetence and habitually drunk Mexican drivers as well as their unsafe trucks and trailers. Not only will American truckers lose their jobs, but American motorists become collateral damage in accidents guaranteed to occur.
Bush’s action mandates American truckers’ jobs vanishing with a new version of: “Mexican drivers do the jobs that American truckers won’t do.”
Last Friday, we noticed a news item that was picked up by the on-line news service, Freedoms Phoenix Headline News out of Phoenix, Arizona.
The news story was titled, Former Fed analyst questions M1 currency component spike prior to 9/11, and was originally published on March 22 in the Muckraker Report.
The story is about William Bergman a senior analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago whose employment with the Bank was abruptly terminated after he sought answers to a question relating to an investigation he had been directed to undertake. Click here and here for more.

You're right as long as the public doesn't fight back it will get even worse in the coming years if that's possible. I don't think all is lost though as surely even the too-tolerant public will baulk at the suffocating tyranny now being implemented. The UK is now the UKSSR - 30 min interviews for passport applicants announced today! I wonder when they'll build the wall? It'll be like Cuba where people can't leave and are shot if they try. Like old E Germany, the UK today is utterly stifling.
The United States of America was created to be a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. A Constitutionally limited republic is restricted to the protection of individual rights. As outlined in our Constitution, the role of the federal government is strictly controlled in well-defined responsibilities. According to the 10th Amendment, all other powers and responsibilities are assigned to the 50 individual, sovereign States, which also are Republican governments.
A democracy is ruled by a majority of votes. Under such a system, no rights may be guaranteed since a simple majority can overturn them. The result of a democracy is a form of collectivism, which denies individual rights. Click here for more.

On Tuesday, March 20, 2007 the Liberty Dollar filed suit against the U.S. Mint in U.S. District Court in Evansville Indiana. The organization asked the court to declare that the use of the Liberty Dollar is not a 'federal crime,' as claimed by the U.S. Mint. And the organization further asked the court to enter a permanent injunction against the U.S. Mint requiring it to remove any reference that the use of Liberty Dollars is a federal crime from its website.
Trust me, this lawsuit is no small matter. Nor is the cost. Initially estimated at $100,000 – we simply have no idea what the actual total cost will be. But it is not cheap to sue the US government that makes their money out of thin air and pays their attorneys with your income tax dollars.

As we all know, first cheap and now high-tech Chinese goods have saturated the US Market for well over a decade now.
This created a very large strain on the balance of trade between the US and China.
Additionally, the Chinese government to keep that imbalance running at full steam kept their currency the Yuan pegged to the dollar so that their currency would maintain at a fixed "low" rate to the dollar and thus their manufactured goods would remain cheap in comparison to US Goods where their currency would not appreciate to the dollar and thus cheaper Chinese products.
The US Government and manufactures here in the US were not happy with China's currency strategy and for the last several years put the pressure on China to stop pegging their currency the Yuan to the dollar and move to a basket of currencies to determine the Yuan's value. Well, after severe pressure exerted by the US Government, about six months ago China buckled and un-pegged the Yuan from the dollar and went to a basket of currencies pegged to the Yuan.

Most American's don't understand their own history
I find that most American's don't understand their own history. The public schools rewrite it. If only people knew the real reason why we don't have a law for an income tax in this country: Our forefathers designed it that way. I think that more people would be accepting of the idea that there is no law requiring individuals to pay income tax if they understood why our forefathers gave us the Constitution that they did.
Our American forefathers knew what they were doing when they made federal income taxes illegal. They were fully aware that history abounded with examples of governments encroaching on the liberties of its citizens. James Madison wrote, "Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpation." This is the reason why they only gave the federal government two means of collecting taxes, knowing full well that it is taxes that grow governments.
The first method allows the federal government to tax the states (direct taxes apportioned). This forces the federal government to negotiate with entities large and powerful enough to resist. This provides for the balance of power principle our forefathers valued so immensely and interwove so intricately into a government that has thus far withstood the test of time.
The second method allowed for the federal government to tax the individual, but only if the individual had the option not to pay those taxes, as is the case for alcohol, and tobacco (indirect taxes unapportioned). This allowed an individual to say within their selves, "I do not like the way my government is spending my money, so I am not going to give them anymore by buying this or that product that I would enjoy ordinarily." The decision to buy or not to buy is far easier and far more effective than hitching a ride on a horse and carriage to Washington and holding up placards. Our forefathers knew that the demands of life do not always allow us the time to formally petition our government. Besides, placards can be ignored. The purse ... not so easy.
Instead of our forefather's original vision, today we have the federal government railroading the individual into paying income taxes under threat of prison or the confiscation of their property. Just as our forefathers feared, the federal government has grown large and unaccountable to the people, sending "swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out of their substance." In a 30 min interview on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, Dr. Ron Paul (R –Tx) announced his campaign for the Presidency of the Untied States. Dr. Paul, a Lake Jackson Texas obstetrician announced that he would be making other announcements today but that C-SPAN was the launching platform for his campaign.
Ron Paul was born and raised in Pennsylvania, received his medical degree from Duke University, was drafted into the US Air Force where he served five years as a flight surgeon and settled in Lake Jackson Texas with his wife and family. Dr. Paul has been a Texas congressman for many years. Dr. Paul then took questions via telephone from C-SPAN's nationwide viewing audience. Dr. Paul responded to a broad range of questions in the constitutionally based direct and to the point responsive manner to which he is well known. His strong pro life, pro gold, pro constitution, anti Federal Reserve and anti Iraq war stance was clearly set out in his responses. He announced a campaign trip to Arizona this week with a trip to Iowa in coming weeks.

Hundreds of millions of Americans will have until 2013 to be outfitted with new digital ID cards, the Bush administration said on Thursday in a long-awaited announcement that reveals details of how the new identification plan will work.
The announcement by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security offers a five-year extension to the deadline for states to issue the ID cards, and proposes creating the equivalent of a national database that would include details on all 240 million licensed drivers.

I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington. The image of the American flag subsumed to another and turned upside down on American soil is already spreading on Internet forums and via e-mail.

If you saw the show, you know that he painted a very sobering picture regarding the federal government�s ability to meet its future obligations.
If you didn�t see the show, Mr. Walker�s theme was simple: government entitlement spending is like a runaway freight train headed straight at American taxpayers. He singled out the Medicare prescription drug bill, passed by Congress at the end of 2003, as �probably the most fiscally irresponsible piece of legislation since the 1960s.�
When it comes to Social Security and Medicare, the federal government simply won�t be able to keep its promises in the future. That is the reality every American should get used to, despite the grand promises of Washington reformers. Our entitlement system can�t be reformed- it�s too late. Notice of Proposed Rulemaking: REAL ID The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced draft regulations in the form of a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to establish minimum standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards in accordance with the REAL ID Act of 2005.
These proposed regulations set standards for states to meet the requirements of the REAL ID Act, including:
* security features that must be incorporated into each card; * verification of information provided by applicants to establish their identity and lawful status in the United States; and * physical security standards for locations where licenses and identification cards are issued.

(3) Level 3. Inspection by forensic specialists.

WASHINGTON — Under siege from states and angry lawmakers, the White House on Thursday moved back a deadline to implement national driver's license standards that critics say would seriously undermine personal privacy and burden states with a hefty bill.
The announcement that states could have an extra 20 months, until the end of 2009, to meet the requirements of the Real ID Act did little to ease criticism of the law from conservative activists, privacy advocates, motor vehicle departments and lawmakers.
The widespread resistance to a policy the administration considers an essential weapon in the war on terrorism reflects a shift from the almost total support the administration initially enjoyed for its national security agenda after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Click here for more.
