Chicago AFTF Supporter Shines Light of Truth On Corruption

AFTF Network Supporter & Chicago Mayoral Candidate, Bill "Dock" Walls Makes Headlines

Bill Walls was THE first individual in Chicago politics to see and support Aaron Russo's movie. Bill stood up at three of the original Chicago premiers of AFTF during late July-early August 2006. Aaron wants Bill to become the next Mayor of Chicago. Towards that end, Aaron has allowed Bill to screen Aaron's movie throughout Chicago to raise financial support for Bill's campaign. On September 26, 2006 Aaron spoke at a Dinner Benefit for Bill Walls on the south side of Chicago which featured a full screening of AFTF.

Here's what one of Chicago's leading political newspaper columnists wrote yesterday about Bill Walls:

We've long known that Chicago voters show a certain degree of tolerance when it comes to corruption involving their public officials, the election results from last week providing yet another reminder.

But William "Dock" Walls, the other declared candidate for mayor, has come along this week and for the first time put a name on this concept.

Walls calls it the "corruption allowance."

I kind of like that.

------snip-------

I've always marveled at our corruption allowance. I just didn't know what to call it.

Now that it has a name, my mind is racing to consider the possible corollaries: Does a politician's corruption allowance increase the longer he is in office or is it a one-shot allotment with a cumulative drawdown? Can they replenish their allowance by performing certain chores, such as planting trees and flowers? Are white politicians given a bigger allowance than black politicians, or is the opposite true?

Walls is claiming the corruption allowance as an original idea, so I'm giving him credit.

One day later, Chicago Suntimes columnist Fran Spellman continues to run with the corruption theme:

Aldermen blast city corruption scandals

Three black aldermen rained on Mayor Daley's parade Wednesday, spoiling unanimous approval of his election-year budget: They branded Chicago a "tale of two cities" and condemned the corruption scandals that have made Daley's life miserable for nearly three years.

Chicago Suntimes columnist Mark Brown piles on one day after "corruption allowance" theme:

Black aldermen walk tightrope as election season approaches

Mayor Daley doesn't like it when somebody shows him up at a City Council meeting, especially when his budget is up for consideration. He's funny that way. It was no surprise, therefore, when Daley got snippy Wednesday with three black aldermen who used the budget vote to dredge up the sore subject of City Hall corruption.

There needs to be competition and a lot of money to get Daley out. Big business will back him because he will sell out the people of Chicago in a hot minute for under the table money and power.

Privatization of city jobs and giving out contracts to outsiders who seek cheap/slave labor is now and always has been his agenda.

If William Dock Walls has what it takes, he better get started proving he's worth the vote by speaking out and creating support from powerful people in government and the average people of this city.
